Johnny Chiu is the founder of JC. Architecture & Design, a multidisciplinary design firm based in Taiwan and the United States. His search for identity has led to projects that explore memory and locality through experimental and collaborative efforts where each undertaking reflects his commitment to community-driven design that preserves cultural authenticity and heritage. He also founded the OUT Scholarship, which accompanies design students to see the world and encourages them to step out of what is familiar and immerse in diverse cultures.

Johnny's adventure touches various disciplines and speaks through remarkable projects such as The Moving Kitchen for Taiwan Railway, A Little Museum Store for Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Penghu Ferry for Taiwan Maritime & Port Bureau, BLOOM Chair for Kobe Leather, and Jade Mountain Bench for New York's Times Square Tower. His works are often featured on both domestic and international media outlets including CNN Travel, France's Le Monde, Italy's DDN Magazine and Italy's Vanity Fair.

Johnny is also an esteemed juror and speaker at design events such as the The School of Architecture (founded by Frank Lloyd Wright), World Architecture Festival, SHARE Interiors Forum, Ambiente Frankfurt Digital Academy, and World Design Experience powered by San Diego Design Week. His otheraccolades include 2020 GQ of the Year, Red Dot: Best of the Best, and Gold Winner of 2023 iF DESIGN AWARD.

邱柏文 Johnny Chiu 是「柏成設計 JC. Architecture & Design」的創辦人。他曾旅居六國，對身份認同的探索，促使他投入一系列融合記憶與在地性的專案，透過實驗與協作，打造出每一項承載社群意義的設計，並展現他對文化保護與傳統延續的承諾。他同時創立了 「OUT Scholarship 出走旅遊獎學金」，鼓勵學生走出舒適圈，親身體驗世界並沉浸於多元文化中。

邱柏文的設計冒險觸及多項領域，如台鐵的「鳴日廚房」、台北市立美術館的「千分之二的北美館」、港務局的「澎湖輪」、日本神戶皮革的「BLOOM 椅」，以及為紐約時代廣場大樓打造的「玉山椅」。他的作品常被全球媒體關注，像是美國《CNN》、法國《Le Monde》、義大利《DDN 雜誌》及義大利《浮華世界》。

他亦為多場國際獎項評審和設計論壇講者，從美國萊特建築學院、WAF/INSIDE 世界建築節/世界室內設計節、SHARE Interiors Forum、Ambiente Frankfurt Digital Academy 到 2024 年 World Design Experience 都能看到邱柏文的身影，致力於讓世界看見更多臺灣的美好。其他榮譽則包括紅點設計大獎最佳設計獎、2020 年《GQ of the Year》以及 2023 年德國 iF 金質獎。
